Just today I received and installed a set of gray/black clutch and brake levers from Tophome Global @ eBay. They were supposed to arrive mid September but got from Baiyun, Guangzhou, Guangdong, PR of China to Duluth, GA in only 12 days via ordinary China Post -> USPS. For around $26 I received levers of what appears to be surprisingly high quality. See the attached pics. They're solid and light, the mechanism has a neat positive feel, the parts fit, ... no complaints. Note that I needed to reuse the stock fittings (i.e. nuts, bolts and inner metal tubes). No instructions were included but I found a couple of YouTubers that took care of explaining a pretty straightforward process.

GOOD GRAVY. I cannot recommend the R6 shock enough. That combined with the stiffer (and rebuilt) front suspension has completely transformed the character of the bike. Unreal. :D

Do I detect a note of sarcasm?

Not in the slightest! The bike feels like it lost 50 lbs in slow speed maneuvers, and it sticks like glue in the twisties. I'm beyond pleased.

Oh. I misread it as "I cannot recommend the r6 shock though"

Alas :( I was really sad to read about that.

In the midst of my tinkering, it seems I set my head bearings too loose, as there is some clanking when going over bumps, so I'll need to adjust that ASAP!

So I feel like I have put in enough wrench time on my bike to warrant an entry in this thread.
Since she was delivered a couple weeks ago I got a bike thought dead, back to life with a 30amp main circuit fuse...
Gave her a bath.
Replaced the chain.
Pulled and cleaned the carbs.
Removed and inspected clutch basket, disks, frictions.
Inspected shift shaft assembly (chasing 2nd gear)
Fresh oil and filter (Rotella T5 and a mobile1 110 filter)
cleaned and lubed her sticky throttle cables.
Discovered the front sprocket is DONE so ordered a new one...
And got a new set of rubber ordered for her feets. I went with the Shenko touring 170/60zr17 rear 120/60zr17 front.

I want to go deeper but can't have both bikes down at the same time.
My dang Suzuki Savage is down with a bad ticker and awaiting a new piston, and jug getting bored out.

Started bouncing ideas around my nugget about freshening up the appearance of the bike with some slight modifications and some unconventional coatings application...

Can you say Rhino Liner?

Adjusted the chain @ the 600 mile mark.
Debating whether or not to change the oil today... so I drove up to Lake Lanier and back to circulate the oil and the question. Still debating it.
Filled up the tank. Got 42.1 mpg with pretty aggressive driving.
