97+ velocity stacks on 95 carb?

Postby MarkisB81 » Thu Sep 28, 2017 3:54 pm

I have one cracked and Mickey rigged velocity stack (air intake joint). Can't for the LIFE of me find a replacement. Discontinued and absolutely unavailable. It's wrapped in tape which I guess is working kinda. But it also has a big chip on the edge of the flange which HAS to be letting air escape. Hence the vacuum issue that is causing my udke to hang around 3500rpm temporarily when I give it throttle. So my question is... due to the unavailability of my particular part.. would I be able to use a set of 97+ stacks instead? What's the size difference? Heeeeeelp
