if it continues to pull strong all the way to the top past 7k then it sounds like the low speed/pilot (whatever you prefer to call it) is dirty. about 6k is when the slides start opening the secondary's. I suppose the mixture could be off too, but I would just pull the carbs and go through them
I have a full engines worth of bolts and hardware. if you are missing somthing specialty hit me up I will share.

I have not done a video on that topic.

but I assure you there are solid threads on the process out there already.

Would it still do that even if I hold it wide open before 6-7k rpms if it was the jets throtle position don't matter unless I ease into.the throtle then you cant even tell unless you really try to get on it

So easing into it ok. Hard into it boggs until you get over 7k?

Cool temps will make the bike run cooler. You could change out your thermostat, if it makes you feel better. However, mine also runs cool as well during the winter. It takes a while to warm up. If I let it idle for 10 minutes, I’ll see the temp gauge rise up, but as soon as I am moving, the temperature falls right down. While riding around on the highway in cooler months, my temp reads about 65 C. In the summer, it’ll run 70 or a few degrees warmer while at speed. It’s done this since I bought it new 18 years ago, so I’ve just figured it was normal. During the summer months, if I’m idling (for instance, at a long stop light), I can see the temperature slowly increase. And as soon as I start moving, the temp comes right back down. By the way, the fan should turn on at 104, which is just above the high mark, but below the red area.
