One of the CRs who had been working with me a lot that day flagged me down as we were leaving the track and told me to find him next time and we'd talk about moving up to a faster group..... not entirely sure whats entailed. Either way, I'm staying put for a few more seasons. I've got a LOT to work on.

If John ever gives up track days, I'll be screwed.

Don't worry...I wont give it up...although I would consider a different bike.

I didnt know the CR mentioned moving you up to a faster group. That kind of suprises me, considering how much faster people were in the NESBA novice group. Although I will admit there were much fewer bikes passing us this time with Team Promotion. I guess different clubs have different opinions of novice and intermediate. I personally dont think I am anywhere close to being bumped up.

I don't think I am either. I agree based on what little experience I have, NESBA has some crazy fast B group riders. Those guys were nuts. I got passed all over, not just in the straights. I'm staying right where I am for a few more years.

Only "problem" I have with the YZF is carb issues (fuel injection would be awesome for 90 degree days as well as the 40s and 50s we had) and I hate getting passed on the straights by the same guys who hold me up in the corners like our white GSXR buddy and R6 neighbor. :lol

Otherwise, that "old" YZF is gonna carry me for a loooooong time. :D

Maybe we can find a track with no straights? :evillol

That would be BEYOND epic! I don't mind letting loose on a track, but public roads, Dragon included, I'm back to 5/10ths pace. I spent a year in a wheelchair and I'm not gonna do it again. No way.
