MotoGP @ Indy Race talk *SPOILERS*

Postby Insulinboy » Sun Aug 10, 2014 1:31 pm

Watching it live, moto2 is on right now and I just wanted to say, DAMN it looks like only half the field is even going to finish the race. I know its a new track, but jebus, they rebuilt it to try and end up with less wrecks. Moto3 was smooth with only one or two incidents.. WTF?

Fox Sports 1 suks....dropped the last 7 laps with lost feed.

stupid.

Why was this Collins last race?

How many fans were there? The stands appeared mostly empty.

It wasn't Collins' last race. It was his last home country race, so they were making a big deal of it.
Glued to the bike, riding every day, rain or shine.

Afflicted by the motorcycle craze. :D

FS1 couldn't do anything about it.. It was a power outage.. but I agree, I miss Speed :(

Edwards decided to retire at the end of the season, he's been racing professionally since he was 18, near 25 years ago. He's come to the conclusion he cant really do anything but fall off more from here and he has daily aches from crashes years ago that are bothering him to the point its hard to do what he does. I applaud him for stepping aside before he was "forced" to by not having a ride anymore.

Unfortunately MotoGP isn't as big state side as it is in other countries. I'd have loved to have been there, and if there is ever a MotoGP at barber or RA you can damn well be sure I would be there, but those facilities cant support a race of that nature unfortunately and I doubt RA is up to safety specs for motoGP
