so I don't plan on going back and "fix" all my previous posts, and the plugin trick seems to solve the issue for the old stuff, as long as you leave PB content where it was.

I think I have found a good alternative, and have been playing with it a little

it is called postimg.org

the site is very light and much easier to use that PB. they allow direct linking, the way you do multiple uploads and can pull all the links at once is really slick. if you are ambitious you can use your IMG tag and the direct link and totally do image only. if you use their generated forum link, your picture appears fine with no ads on it, but the picture becomes a link back to their main site for ad money. terms of service seem OK. they do have a stipulation if you do what I just describe an excessive amount they may disable your links. no specifics are given.

see heres a picture I uploaded and linked seems to work good

Unfortunately, I didn't think about it and deleted some of my PB pics. No big deal. I've switched to imgur and seems to be alright.
